This work deals with Chinese and German phraseologies with body part designations. These idioms make up a large part of the Chinese and German languages. In this work, these phraseologies are assigned to different categories and different dimensions and compared on this basis. In conclusion, similarities and differences at the linguistic and cultural level are explained.
