Rechtsstaatliches Regieren
Product Information
Product Description
This book interprets China's social and judicial reform toward the rule of law. It argues that everyone can only enjoy the rights they are entitled to as equal citizens when the principle of rule of law is truly implemented. Then social peace (referred to as 'harmony' in China) and stability would be possible. Only then could the 'national rejuvenation' propagated in the "Chinese Dream" receive strong institutional support. Different countries have different timelines for achieving the rule of law due to their different histories, different levels of social and economic development, and different cultures. The book argues that the rule of law is a key element of human political civilization and a globally shared ideal on the path to national prosperity. The book series "Chinese Contemporary Documents" shows in direct, uncommented translation the unaltered, current, semi-official state view from China. Realized with state Chinese support.
