Das Denken des jungen Hegel im Kontext seiner Zeit
Product Information
Product Description
Hegel's thinking developed in his young years, that is in his life stations Stuttgart, Tübingen, Bern, Frankfurt and Jena, with extreme complexity. It was not oriented toward philosophy from the beginning and not primarily, but stood in lively engagement with the cultural and political circumstances of his time. Kant and the French Revolution formed the background. The friendships with Hölderlin and Schelling brought numerous additional impulses. Although an essential core of Hegel's writings from his youth has been known for over a hundred years, since the edition by Herman Nohl (1907), only in recent decades could Hegel's development be understood and traced more precisely and in many facets. The treatises in the present volume reflect the state of research and advance it further in many points.
