In today's time of growing cultural convergence, the question of cross-cultural ethics is of crucial importance. In view of repeatedly raised claims that major differences between European and non-European thinking stand in the way of this, a critical examination of such theses is undertaken and it is demonstrated that these are mostly unjustified.
