From the preface: Nothing becomes obsolete in philosophy as quickly as what is reflected in a philosophy of nature, one says, and rightly so. Nevertheless, there are certain very deep-lying and at the same time most general foundational designs regarding precisely this subject matter, which from a typological perspective of thought also retain their interest as holistic achievements beyond their time of actuality, concerning questions such as the relationship of materiality to its ultimate(!) principled foundation and similar matters. – The following reflections intend to make a contribution to the general relevant discussion from this perspective, even where it concerns very concrete and individual scientific matters.
