Medienentwicklung in Afrika
Product Information
Product Description
In 2009, 1,000,000,000 people lived on the African continent. At the same time, mobile phone growth is the highest in the world. Through fiber optic cables, media in Africa experienced an "online revolution" in 2010, but these media platforms need people who can use them well to positively change society. The procurement of media elements for the pacification of social conflicts is based particularly on the recognition that the transformation and differentiation of human relationships are the foundation of their cooperation. There is a certain dynamic in which everything changes - with or without our will. Our task is to influence this transformation through creativity. Economic development is no guarantee that peacekeeping will be necessary. Good peace is scarce and expensive, especially in democracy, where people depend on freedom and rights. Media are not puppets that move freely and produce reports. Media serve news, communication and exchange. These characteristics should not be the object of uncertainty, but should consider our convictions and our hopes. The history of media in Africa is simultaneously the history of their development. The representation of development media could therefore not exist without that of the development of media.
